Mix or match it.
In the world of earphones, there's actually more to think about than what meets the ear.
There's the sound quality, of course, and every audiophile out there has their patented POV on the definition of the topic. How much noise-reduction do you prefer? Do you want a bigger, surround boom or precision in the music itself? (I prefer the latter, personally.) Everybody wants light-weighing earphones, but better raw materials more often weigh more.
Then there's the piece design. In-ear, ear-clipped or headphones. Slim or bulky. How buried do you want the piece itself? More often than not, people prefer a specific design not just for how it fits their ear but also for how it fits their lifestyle (i.e.: Do you use the same earphones for working out as the ones for commuting?). There are two different ergonomic need sets for these two activities.
And lastly, there's fashion. Now some of you might have spent 10 minutes in our Buy Pages, obsessive-clicking on the nine different duo-tones of our XLR (with freedom comes choice). We realize it all boils down to personal colour choice, but in the unfortunate event that you: 1) don't have one or 2) have more than one, here are two ways to pick one.
Questions from our team to yours (for use of colour wheel above).
- Do you keep to yourself more (go for colours in lower hemisphere) or do you love to be heard and seen (colours in upper hemisphere)?
- Open your closet and do a quick glance of your clothes. What colour stands out most? Complement or contrast using arrows above.
Hope this lessens the time you have to spend checking out.
(For those wondering about the sound quality of the XLR: it's comparable to Apple's standard earphones, but with a deeper, enhanced bass sound - our drivers are oversized.)
