iSkin at the Epic BBQ and Volleyball Tournament

Sporting a blue team uniform, iSkin brought out it's best today to compete in the annual Epic Volleyball Tournament at our Headquarters in Toronto.

iSkin along with over 15 other companies that work in the Atria building slugged it out on 4 courts to determine who was king of the Atria and earn the right to brag about the title for the remainder of the year.  For hours, spikes, volleys and bumps were flying under the sun while the smell of BBQ was wafting through the air.

In the first round of the tournament, iSkin took on a formidable opponent, BlackBox Network Services and emerged victorious due to sheer determination.  

Moving onto the quarter finals, iSkin used complex team strategies such as calling 'mine' to defeat a ruthless Real Estate bunch called Cushman & Wakefield after 20 minutes of of intense play.

After a brief intermission of burgers, pop, corn on the cob and ice cream, iSkin moved on to the semi-final round and were pitted against a team called TCOP, a much feared clan of software testers.  Although iSkin was ahead by a considerable spread during the first half of play, the BBQ began catching up with us during the second and we were eventually defeated by just a few points.

All around, it was a great afternoon.  And there's always next year...
