3-Step Hatch-Lock Technique
Amidst the great reviews, we also heard from some customers who had some difficulty installing and taking off the hatch. So we thought we'd picture demo our official technique to easily remove and put on the Vu's hatch.
There are 3 easy steps to installing the hatch.
1. Align one "wing" (or corner) of the hatch under the mold, while keeping the bottom groove down hooked under the iPad.
2. Push the other (adjacent) wing down (or inside) the mold with a thumb.
3. Push the bottom rear of the hatch forward while keeping the wings fastened. You'll hear a locking sound with the iPad.
And it's even quicker to remove it.
1. Simply push the hatch forward with both fingers, then lift out.
